Master cylinder (dual chamber, from a 71 Mustang, that I added 15 years ago when I updated to disk brakes) conked out on me. I'll have a new one in the morning. Ken has offered to be the "pedal man" when it comes time to bleed the new system, although he has become a new Granpa since the offer.

I know to bench bleed the master cylinder.

Should I use compressed air to blow out the lines before I start?

Once I start bleeding, should I do the back system (drums) or front system (disks) first? I know I should start with the furthest wheel cylinder in each system first.

Blow the lines with alcohol or Aerosol brake cleaner until they run clear then blow them out again with _dry_ air , not oily air from a cheap or worn out compressor .
