So Tab had to work today and I was just sitting around the house getting pretty bored. No AD to work on cause it's at dad's still. I did have a BMW wheel in the garage that I wanted to convert into an end table for my bonus room to match my coffee table. So I got up and went to home depot and bought some iron tube, base plate. and some wood. I cut out the wood in a circle and painted it like the BMW roundel. I took the pipe and welded an old hub I had sitting around to the end of it. Painted the hub and pipe. I bolted that assembly to the wood and put the wheel on top. I'm not completely done yet with it cause I've gotta get some round glass and I'm going to put a brake rotor on it too. Also need the center cap for the wheel, but all in all I think it's gonna look okay. Just thought I'd share with you guys, I thought it was pretty cool.

You never know, some car enthusiast might like it. I've got another M3 rear rim to do another end table. That way I've got one on both sides of the couch. I may get it done this weekend.

Very well done! The only problem is when you get your ride done, you'll spend all your time inside it- trust me!

Thanks Zig. I get into little things like this when I get bored. Dad is supposed to get the frame blasted and to me so I can work on it, but it won't stop raining when he is off work. Oh well, patience is something taught right?
