ingnition lock

Hey everybody,
Need a little help here. I bought a new ignition switch/cylinder for my 78 chevy 1/2 ton and I can get it in OK. The problem is that it doesn't seem to turn far enough to engage the starter.

Do I need to adjust my ignition switch's position on the column or am I doing something else wrong?
