I have been trying to bring back a 55 chevy 2nd series. I have a 57 I'am using for parts. The driver side fender on the 55 was in pretty bad shape so I used the fender off the 57. Is it me or is there some slight diffences in the way the fenders go on??

fender should fit fine. something may be tweeked a little but it will work.

thank you both for the help, and the flat spot is what I was wondering about. I also found on closer inspection that there is a extra bolt hole on the inside front of the 57 fender where it mounts to the radiator support Well I guess I will have to go with the 55 fender even though I have done a crap load of work on the 57 fender, welding and grinding and such. But I guess it was some good practice doing all the patching. After getting all the rust off the 55 fender it wasn't all that bad a shape.
