I saw this tonight at the Klein Show and Shine and wondered if it was an optional engine for this Metropolitan.

    Nice ride

I bet it goes pretty good.........motor looks familar but cant place it.......maybe a brand F ?? possibly a 429 or 460 ??......very nice color scheme too......Is the owner on a suicide mission ??......:D

    nice to see something different

It is definitely a big block F*%d engine. I couldn't tell exactly how big though. It's the ultimate sleeper! The car looks completely stock from the back, sides and front until you see the hole in the hood and that knarly looking engine poking out of it!

Here's something a little less radical that I saw tonight.

Lucky you, getting to go to the 1st Shine of the year. How was the turnout? I HAD to stay in Colorado skiing. Be back in Klein tonight. I'll be at the show next Saturday.

    When will your 50 arrive?

    Huge turnout!

    Weather cooperated. Overflow parking.

Here's one more that was there last night.

That '60 is sweet. It has a 348 with trips and a four speed. The interior was buckets & a console in the front (not available from Chevy in '60), but the fabric was correct for a '60.
