Its a funny ol world, was trying to replace a plug fitting in the shower room sink (not sure what you guys call them) today and it was bl**dy difficult job, needed 5 knuckles in each finger and two wrists on each hand......ok now your wondering what this has to do with this forum? well heres the funny bit, none of my pipe wrenches, grips or any other tool would fit in the tight space and was at my wits end searching round the garage when.....(fanfare)...... there it was..........the tool that came with the ring and pinion kit for the ol truck!! a flat spanner, very stubby handle and not hardened so i could put some shapes in it to do the job. AND it was a perfect fit on the nut on the sink!!! Well it made my day, suppose you had to be there And now i know if im ever tearing a diff down and i strip the pinion nut, theres a spare one in the bathroom (restroom)
