    Robert,
How soon will you be installing that jag in the truck?

Good luck~ You know this will take away that "drives like a truck" feel that I am all over, but if you want a smooth, curve hugging ride, it looks like you are on an interesting track!

    Robert ;

From what model and year Jaguar is it ? .

I remember this being a big deal to do in the 1960's .

Jaguars litter the Self Service Junk Yards near you , maybe there's some money to be made removing and re selling them ? .

If it is from an XJ6 the rubber rack mount bushings need to go. Poor from the start and really bad once soaked in oil, and, ALL Jags leak oil. Urethane bushings are offered by several suppliers and cure the problem but will transfer a bit more road noise up into the cab. It can't be heard over the wind noise in an AD at 70mph. Nice driving and feeling IFS.

Front end is out of a 1986 xj6
As far as removing them from our local pick a part to make money is not going to happen they charge for every part a arms crossmember and on and on as well as a core deposit such as crossmember rotors and something else just can't remember.somby the time you get complete ifs to the counter your looking around the $500 and up range.

Because I don't install ifs myself??
Looking into different ways to do it .my welding skills are not good enough to weld on a front suspension bolt on no problem plus need to make sure it's dead on .so if that's why a pussyfoot so be it.
A lot of people here have a lot of skills and are very talented at what they do .
Unfortunately I am not one of them I dabble and try sometimes with very little success.

Back down there big fella.... when folks put jag suspensions in their Hot Rods, back in the day, they called that a pussyfoot suspension...

You know Jaguar = cat = pussy ... a.k.a. pussyfoot

    Don't worry........ Be Happy.

    No worries John
Is interesting to find out that jag suspension was used way back when.
I've just been reading about them the last few years popular in the UK

That kinda sucks , the crazy pricing like that .

I know two self service yards that will sometimes work with me on the pricing of large piles of parts / junk .

Back in the 1960's & 1970's finding a jaguar to scavenge parts off of was a rare thing indeed so what you're doing was beyond exotic .

    Don't sell yourself short ~ you've tackled many jobs I wouldn't , I'm always impressed with your works .

    Over price

Thanks Nate I found the perfect donors car at a pick a part went back a couple of weeks later to pull off the front end the car was gone I asked employees they said car went to crusher been on line to long the car was in great shape for the most part just parts missing from interior and rear end.
So I asked for complete price they told me $500 plus tax and core charges
What a rip off so I did some searching and found elite in the valley one price for everything they had front end off a car about 2 stories off the ground on a car rack owner Rick helpful and cool guy to deal with.
Can't wait to start this install still have to find a couple of stock five lug wheels for it and some ford lug nuts.

    Robert,
There is the guy at Pomona Swap Meet that has lug nuts for most anything. That is where I got the left/right ones for my jeeps.
