My parents bought this suburban when they found out they were pregnant with me. I was a 4th child and the 64 GTO just didn't have enough room anymore...
My dad still has the 64 GTO by the way.
so anyway the first time I rode in this suburban was in 71 when my mother was pregnant with me!
so for the last 33 years I have been trying to talk dad out of it.
Finally convinced him! and am going to start a restore on it.
It has 217k miles and still runs pretty strong, but I am going to do a body off.
has some rust on p side rocker panels and rear fenders.
but thats easy enough. this is gonna be fun!
