Ken i was admiring all the pics of your truck very nice love the color looks like a profesional job.I wanted to know is the spare tire rack in the pic the correct one for that year because i think i found one just like it and wanted to make sure its correct.I got some pics from nate and both pics look different than yours i am cornfused thanks for any info. And if you know what exact years is your spare tire rack for.

Ron, in answer to your question I am certainly no expert at what year the spare tire carriers changed, all I know is my 50 is different than my 51 donor truck. The first pic shows the track that it slides into. Note that the track is riveted on. Second pic shows the pieces that make up the carrier. Third pic shows the spare tire mounted to the carrier and in the down position. My 51 donor truck carrier is a totally different set up that swings down and around. (if it weren't so rusty) Hope that helps. Ken
