Does anyone have any advice on installation of the kick panel speaker's into the kick panel area? I got a set for christmas. I have not been able to take them out to where my truck is being stored yeat, but was seeing if any body had any pointer's or advice before I jumped in? thanks

Aftermarket Speakers

Wow ~ 22 views and no one has any comments ? .

All I can say is : mind the speakers have the correct impedance , either 4 or 8 ohms , that's mentioned on the back of the radio .

I assume you know that the speaker wire ('zip cord') has one colored stripe and it should always go to the speaker connection with a colored dot , stripe or " + " mark , this " Phases " the speakers and add that tiny last bit of good sound....

Keep us posted , I'm curious as to how these work out .

i to am looking at the puchase of those speakers and i am also looking to see how difficult they are to install before i purchase them. i understand the wiring part but not sure if they fit over the exsisting kick panels?

I instaled a set in my 67 . It was pretty easy. You may have to trim a little bit but don't be scared.if I can do it anyone can
