hey guys, I ordered a set of kick panel covers with the speakers for my 65 c10 from Classic Parts.
What is the best way to mount these to the original kick panels. I have some dynamat I want to put behind it and want to get the best sound. should I attach this to the new panel or the kick panel itself? would velcro work well so I could remove it should the need arise?. thank, raking

    You gotta trim

Mine didn't quite fit like I thought they should. I had to do a bit of trimming. I just put a couple of screws through them into the original steel. I don't think you are going to have room under them for anything. Anything under them would hold them away from the original panel.
