Got a small knock at when under load only. Itll idle "normally" even rev normal. Ive adjusted valves to Deve specs and still seems a bit noisy. Should i be concerned its a possible bearing or connecting rod ? my oil pressure is okay to so ive ruled out that as a problem.I just hate the thought of removing my motor AGAIN. Its a 54' 235. Thanks.

Have you checked your timing? Are you sure it's a knock and not a ping?....
Engine Knock
L6 or V8 ? .
If it knocks under load , it's either a piston slap or ping ~
Revving it in neutral , will make a piston slap but not an ignition knock or ping .
Rods tend to know when you let up off the throttle until you ignore them and they're really bad .
