I can't seam to get my left rear direction light to work, with my pin light I'm not getting power to the pink wire in the connector going to the rear, could it be in the switch in the direction signl hub, as it was purchased new at the time of restoration???
The voltage for the front and rear turn signal come into the switch on the same wire, so if the front is working and the rear isn't and you have checked for and not found power on the rear wire near the switch the problem is most likely in the switch. But before you buy another one, remove he steering wheel and the mechanism that connects the turn signal handle to the switch. Turn the key on and use a small screwdriver to slide the switch up for left turn. Does the lamp blink now? If so there is something misaligned in the mechanism. Then again, you titled your posting "left rear brake light". If the turn signal is working correctly, but the left brake lamp doesn't work the problem could still be in the switch or maybe the switch is not returning to exact middle when cancelled. In either case, try the stuff in the second paragraph.
