Looking a putting a lift on my 79 K10. I am looking at either putting 33s or 35s on it depending on how much money i want to spend on tires:rolleyes:. I thought to clear 33s you need 4" of lift and 6' to clear 35s. Am i correct? Also if it makes a difference i will be installing 3/4 ton axles and lift springs instead of half ton. This truck's gonna be pullin a stock trailer......alot :D.

    Thanks

    Jake

You can fit 33's with about 2.5" of lift and 35's with about 4 or 5". You can get away with less lift if you're willing to trim the fenders.

Here is a thread you can look at if you want to see what different size lift/tires look like.
