I am looking for a steering column for my 56 1/2 ton. It has a Camaro sub-frame, and will be a 700R4 floor shift. I prefer an indash starter switch, but that is flexible. What is a good donor vehicle? I figure between 30 - 32 inches long?
    Thanks,

    good donor

Someone once told me a good donor would be an older ford van but I can't remember the year. In the 70's I think. Might have a column shift that you would have to remove but they had dash ignitions.

67-72 chevy pickup or van. Van is shorter. Both use dash switch. Non tilt are still fairly easy to find, not so for the tilt.
