would like to hear some of your thoughts on my 64 project truck in regardes to my front end - I found a slider/tilt for a one piece front end that i am going to use it slides out 18" then tilts forward & i have a one piece fiberglass hood/fender front end for this truck - not sold on using the fiberglass front end also have fiberglass door shells that i decided not to use either - utimately want to use all metal for onepiece front end (need to find a better hood than the one i have though & fenders are pretty rough also) in the mean time my thoughts are to patch the fender stubs i cut from original fenders (see pics) (these fender stubs will be where i make the latch mechanism for the onepiece front end when i get it together) come up with a mount for some fenders that attaches to the the spindle & hug closely to the tire so they will follow the tire in turns make a shroud for the radiator with a trick grill of some kind (sorta like what you see on open engin hot rods) - fab a narrow bumper to hid the frame horns - make some light brackets for head lights & turn signals (street legal now except at night) that way while i am searching for all my good strait sheet metal she will be fully functional - anyone have any thoughts?
