Lowering 66 C 10

    Is there a problem putting 2" lower front springs on a 66 Stepside without changing the spindles? Will lower rear 4" as well...

    no, no prob w/2" springs up front...im in the process of putting 3" springs and 2" spindles on. w 5" coils and drop blocks in the rear...i like em as low as possible given that i drive it everyday to and from work, but a 2-4 drop looks good too..anything lower than stock always looks better:D

    That sounds good., I just received the springs as I was asking the question (afterthought!!!) yesterday, Thanks for responding....This is a great forum BTW...

    2 inches is about as low as you should go with springs to still keep your front alignment guy as your friend...

    Thanks guys., been traveling last week itchin' to get back home so I can work on this thing...got all my parts in while I was gone..Gotta get to it!!!

    BTW Love that Panel, same color as my stepside....
