    Wasn't he wearing any safety harness ?! I don't see it flapping out the open door as one usually does when they fail...

    Wow does not look like the car was really ready for action yet. look like steering let go or was to loose, how good was the seat bolt it that it few out. I guess there still no set belts in the car. How old is the is this in the 70's I would hope not the 90's
