I just want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of the holidays. Since I don't have all your addresses, this will have to do. Picture taken on our annual bike trip through Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard in Oak Bluff on Martha's Vineyard.

Great picture, Andy! That's a neat Idea~ I might have to post something like that too. I have a couple of youz guyz addresses, but... It's so late now anyway, this would be the only way to do it.
Besides the big grins, the thing I like about your photo is the warmth that comes from it!
    Happy Holidays everyone!

Nate, I particularly like the smiley with the tongue stiking out!

    Zig,
All I can think of is "Warriors come out to play" from the 1979 movie "The Warriors".

Merry Christmas to all my fellow AD lovers.

    Iirc ;

That's from ' The Shining '....? a GREAT movie I didn't see untill it was over 10 years old .

BTW : Hijo Lindo just left , he came over this morning and spent the WHOLE DAU here as I was working on SWMBO's Diesel Mercedes , it's tuned up and ready to hit the road , all squeaky clean too .

Then we popped some new gas struts into his Subaru Legend Impreza 4X4 wagon ~ seems he blew them out desert racing ;)

    For Your Further Elucidation :

12 Politically Correct Days of the Non-Religious Midwinter Festival

On the 12th day of the Eurocentrically imposed midwinter festival, my potential-acquaintance- abuse-survivor gave to me:

12 males reclaiming their inner warrior through ritual drumming.

11 pipers piping (plus the 18-member pit orchestra made up of members in good standing of the Musicians Equity Union as called for in their union contract even though they will not be asked to play a note ...)

10 melanin-deprived testosterone-poisoned scions of the patriarchal ruling class system leaping,

9 persons engaged in rhythmic self-expression,

8 economically disadvantaged female persons stealing milk-products from enslaved Bovine-Americans,

7 endangered swans swimming on federally protected wetlands,

6 enslaved fowl-Americans producing stolen non-human animal products,

5 golden symbols of culturally sanctioned enforced domestic incarceration,

(Note: after a complaint by the Animal Liberation Front, the calling birds, French hens and partridge have been reintroduced to their native habitat. To avoid further animal-American enslavement, the remaining gift package has been revised.)

4 hours of recorded whale songs,

    3 deconstructionist poets,

2 Sierra Club calendars printed on recycled processed tree carcasses

AND A Spotted Owl activist chained to an old-growth pear tree

    !!

    :D

    By the way~

This all started with you, Andy. I was inspired to post a Merry Christmas card too. It's half done. (kinda like it's producer!:D) I'll post it later, but I am having fun with it cause I'm sure you guys will like it. I, no doubt, will have to post it in "the gallery" since my pictures are so ...large...
Anyway, it's been a fun day! thank God for time off to say "happy birthday!"
