Metal rim around my Door Window

Hi again..

My 1960 c10 has the metal around the door window. Is the window the same as the one without the metal? Should I just replace the whole window without the metal and replace the rubber (as I need too anyway)??

Was the metal around the window an option or did it just change with the different years?

The windows are the same, and they just came in different years if I remember correctly. I took glass out of one with the metal trim and put it in my 62 when I broke one of them. Worked fine. Just depends on what look youre going for.

Hey Pat..

Thanks for your reply. In my travels I did confirm your findings. Since I need to replace the window seals, all I have to do is order the seals for the windows without the metal if that is the way I want to go.

I think I will go this way since I just picked up two windows without the metal trim.
