It began making a bad noise under accelleration in 2nd. gear , is still very quiet on coast and in all other gears , in my long ago youth I'd have known exactly what fault this indicates , I'm not sure I want to bother rebuilding it now , maybe I'll just wait until I find a good used one and replace it and the clutch too whilst it's apart .
any one who cares to share knowledge of this fine old tranny ? . I'd appreciate it a lot .
