    Mornin Boys,
New here, just testin the waters.
I bought my 63 back in 74 for $500 and added the stake bed a lil while later. I don't remember how many motors, trans and rear ends I have replaced, but I know I had to change from Bondo to fiber glass. Heres my story from 2 years ago.

Been workin on the PU again. It has a few bad spots on it but with the help of the lil Wife it is goin a lot easier. She even enjoys helping. Shes talkin bout makin herself some 60ies dresses for when we go to the loco meets. So far so good. .
Some day it will look like it used to.. This is bout the 6th or 7th time I redid it..
It's geared for the straight open freeways out west. I do have some problems with it back here sometimes with the back end being so light tho...

Then there was the next weeks.

Well, We got the big holes filled and all in all it don't look too bad-a bad-b bad-c.

    So far, so good.

Well, y'all seen the pictures and read the book, now heres the movie.

Afternoon vwnate1, and thanks for the welcome.

Finally got my new stacks on.

    Question,,
What is the significance of a "12 Bolt rear end"?
I hear people state that they have one, apparently their not all 12 bolt??

    Mornin Boys,
Ya know, sometimes you think a job is a lost cause. When I first looked at my floor I thought "Darn, sure glad I have a small Wife". There wasn't much keepin her in the truck. (I can just see her wavin at me in my rear view mirror.) Anyway, both sides were like that. So, a bunch of fiberglass and sand paper and it looks a lil better. Then some new rubber floor mats and some carpet, then the seats and I'm happy with it.
But I did get to thinkin,, just in case something like that ever did happen, I should get us some new seat belts. I mean, just in case. So after doin a LOT of research and lookin around, I found the perfect set for MY pick up, what ya think??
