Have a friend who is looking for an H050 rear end complete with all parts, drum to drum. The 3/4 ton 55.2-56 GMC truck rear axle was called the H050 axle by GMC. It used an 8 lug wheel and had what I refer to as a "floating" axle. That is, you can remove the axle shafts without removing the rear wheels. The H050 has a round rear cover on the pumpkin. The H050 was available with either a 4.56 or 5.14 ratio. Anyone know where he might find one?
