Need a frame for a 78 burb 2wd.

I wrecked my 78 2wd burb on new years even when a lady hit me (she was sober too!!) Turns out theres some frame damage and even tho the trucks a lil rusty, i wanna fix it, it was my first ever vehicle, and it was my dads (and while hes still alive and not all that old, he wont be around forever) and so i think it'd be better if i just put a new frame under it. Would a 3/4 Ton frame fit under a half ton body? Anyone have a half or 3/4 ton 2wd burb frame (or rolling chassis w/o body) from a 73-91 2wd burb? I have a 1987 suburban frame I'm getting ready to cut up the body, you can have the frame! but its in AZ!
