This is a picture of a 57 Cameo in the tear down stage. Going by the less faded paint on the side of the cowl/firewall could anyone hazard a guess? They used a code 770 (Indian Turquoise0 and a code 710 (Tartan Turquoise). When finished the Cameo definitely had a more blue tone to it. Customer would like the original color. I had another go round with the computer and it won--again. The color I need is on the side of the cowl of the "before" picture. It is more turquoise than the bluer finished truck.
This may help your customer... a '57 Cameo recent repaint in Indian Turquoise and Ivory and another GORGEOUS FACTORY-CORRECT INDIAN TURQUOISE Kind of hard to tell on a computer screen but these do look less blue than the finished photo you posted.... Hope that helps.... _____ John
Thanks Guy's, Now I won't have to make a wrong guess. I can show him the photos and color chips and let him choose. If he doesn't like the result then it's on him not me. He's a great guy (started my chicken bug control) but I hate guessing what another wants, especially picking colors. My blue/green color vision is reversed and my wife claims other colors too but that's just a vicious rumor.
