Soon to be a daily driver....again

I want to mount an inside-the-frame gas tank between the brake booster and the rear axle & shocks (or, on the driver's side of the drive shaft).

Has anyone done this before and can anyone point towards a good donor for making this happen?

Not interested in a rear gas tank, as I want to build an under-the-bed tool box back there...

    Hey, neighbor!

What year truck are you working on? "Coilover" has probably fab'd one before! Check out some of his posts on the '47-54 forum. You might also want to check out the Conroe swap meet this weekend. Sat and Sun at the Montgomery Co. fairgrounds!

IIRC , brand " F " E-100 Econoline tanks are good for this job .
