Hey Chad, welcome to the forum. Interesting question you have posed. For me, there no issue. I'd go with the 47-54 AD series. Why? Because I have one. They're a classic body style, repop parts are plentiful for it (if you speak Chinese) and are very adaptable to modern upgrades. Check out our little corner of the forum (47-54 chevys) and post the same question. You'll get a lot of opinions, albiet biased toward our trucks. We are the "fun" group on this site. Check us out.
