My '57 GMC will most likely be totaled after last Saturday's wreck ( details here: https://talk.classicparts.com/showthread.php?t=17800 ). Assuming the insurance company will let me retain (or purchase) the remains, I'd like to dismantle the hulk and sell the remaining good pieces at reasonable prices to the rest of my on-line old truck enthusiasts.

To do that, I'll need to find a fairly secure place to park it while I rip the good pieces off. Indoors would be best, but outdoors would be acceptable.

I'd probably need the space for at least 2 months.

I'm in Spring Texas, about 25 miles north of downtown Houston.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

    I got it!

I'll move the boat out of my garage and you can put it here! Keep it as long as you need to!
    (I *am* north of Houston...)

Look into u store it places. A few friends and tools could have that thing broken down in a weekend. Catalog the parts to sell, recycle the rest.

That's exactly the plan. I'd get Ken to help, but I have to constantly tell him "righty tighty, lefty loosey".;)

Bill, When you get a place, let me know and I'll help with the teardown. We can work out a schedule of some kind, I'm sure.

    Thanks Ken!

Ken has arranged for indoor space to tear off the remaining good pieces. Now waiting for the insurance company.

Bilbo, I'll be sure to contact you before the fun starts.

Glad it came together! My son-in-law said it would cost me extra baby-sitting duty! That was almost a deal breaker!:D NOT!!
