Was out in the shop after everyone else had gone and needed measurements on the wheel base for the 37 hauler we're building for the 37 business coupe. A scrap of tin with a hole just big enough to fit over the grease zerk and a slot for the tape end did the trick. I know quite a few AD's end up with open rear ends to gain better gear selection so maybe it's useful to others to check positioning. I made the slot exactly one inch from the hole center to simplify the math. On axles with the zerk on the side the the tin tab could be bent to work. Also, save your old top radiator hose because it will fit snuggly over the hood safety latch that stabs the top of your head several times an hour.

    Leave it to Evan~

Necessity is the muther of invention! Great ideas, Evan. I can't wait to have my hood back on to where the latch is in my way!
Once I get my design figured out for sure, I'll get it back together. (It's better to screw up on paper...)
    Keep the ideas coming!
