I am not sure if this is the right place for this. I have seen the new replacement floor and it looks cool and a good price. However, I am not doing a restoration and was curious if a new floor using the Bitchin' parts has been considered? I like the idea of a complete floor replacement but would like to have the flat floor. Just a thought.
You are correct! That part of the floor is NOT flat! It's the part that has the beer drain hole! If you are putting in bucket seats, I know I have seen that a lot of people weld metal over the top of what is under the original seat.
Bitchin makes great products, uses thick sheetmetal, and seems to fit pretty well. I have also used DS sheetmetal for their smooth firewall, which is also very nice.
