New guy intro

    Greg Plaster here. Building a '59 Chevy 1 / 2 ton shortbed. Sticking close to stock with the upgrades being limited to dual chamber master cylinder, timken style wheel bearings, electric wipers, radial tires and a 3 speed tranny w/OD.
    So far I've replaced all the normal Ohio rot items cab corners, running boards, lower hinge pockets and floor patches. Most of my parts came from Classic Chevy "thanks guys!".
    Rebuilt the 235 myself and just fired it up for the first time last week. Sorting out my inoperable charging system today.

    Nice post

    I read and look over your pictures, we both have the green in common. I tried to keep stock but with the road speeds, need some big power. good luck.

    FWIW , the Host's rubber tends to be crappy Chinese shyte , I use Steel Rubber Co. products because they FIT RIGHT and are American made too ! .
