Hey, everyone. New to the forum, but I have a 64 c-10 fleetside with a 283 small block and a three speed transmission. It's a big white (house paint) beast that had a ton of farm miles before becoming a lawn ornament when I picked it up. Cab's solid and the engine runs great. Mechanically sound, but it's going to need a lot of body work (mostly superficial) and the bed's rotted out so I'll be working with that as well.

This is my first truck, first project, and I've never done a bit of body work in the past, so wish me luck. Also, if any of you can suggest a good how-to book to get me started with body work/collision repair, I'd appreciate the help.

    Thanks

Haynes makes a how to book on body work. Should be able to find it at the parts store or book store.
