    Hey Ya'll.....
I just wanted to ask ya'll a question. I recently bought a 64 short wheelbase fleetside for $500.It has the original 230,I think, and a tree speed.I drove it about 40 miles home, and MAN does it run good!
It does need a fair amount of body work....not much rust...just looks as if someone used a ball peen hammer all over it.The question is.....do ya think I got a good deal or not? Thanks...

anything that runs and only costs 500 is a deal but you will be thinking twice once you start on the body work:+

I came across a deal like that from a family member and either way it is good. If you felt like selling it (not recommended) you could probably get more than $500 for it. The body work is almost always the worst part of any project but name one thing in life that is always good and has no bad. Either way I would say you didn't get burned. Try to gather up some buddies that know how to do body work and you are set.

I came across this truck in just about the same way.I bought it from the guy I work for.
And since it's my first classic.....I don't think I will be selling it anytime soon.
I think I already have one of my buddies "talked" into it ;)
