    Hey Group,
Got a really nice new harness from Classic Parts last night. Issue is: the harness in the truck now seems to not have the plug at the end to plug into the firewall. It is spliced into wires coming out of the firewall. Looks like someone tinkered with it and removed the plug??? WHat do to? Remove the nice plug from this new harness and splice her into the wiring like the current (no pun intended) one????? Thanks in advance!!!

Crimp some connecters on the cut one and plug them into the new harness. Then use black tape to secure it. Or you could go to a salvage yard and find the other half of the plug and splice it to the wires coming out of the firewall. Thats what I would do, I wouldnt cut your new harness!! Jeremy

Check out the bottom of this page

Ron Francis has connector kits for 1, thru 8 contacts. Find a grommet that is a snug fit and you will be in business.

The harness uses standard male/female connectors. If you plan on changing out the main harness under the dash in the future you can just make a jumper that will plug right into the harness and then plug it into the firewall grommett. I use the same techinque on my truck after a small fire. It's been 5 years since I replaced the hacked up wiring and the trucks been running great since.
