build my own gas tank and put under the rear. between rear axle and rear end. put a new filler (from a boat) in the bed and mounted all Gone to the gas station and would fill complete - said would. the gas is runnig very slow in the gas tank. Could it be that i need a air ventil on top of the tank? Thought the short filler hose it's enough to let out the air if i fill in the gas.
New Gas Tank I just installed a new tank under the bed also. However, mine was purchased. It had a top fitting that I used for a vent line. I just returned from the gas station where it filled with no problem. If the station uses the vapor recovery nozzle it may be part of the problem. I would suggest a vent line if possible. Gary
