    Hey gang,

My tires finally arrived this week and they were worth the wait. What a difference they make in appearance and ride. I just have to share a couple of pictures. These are the Diamondback 205/75R16 mounted on the original rims with the repop hubcaps from CP. I am grinning ear to ear. :D

I took a set of 15" Cragar rims off and am planning on selling them. If anybody is interested, send me a PM and I can give you details and some pictures.

I also have a couple of leftover items free to a good home:

    1. Sending unit from the fuel tank. I replaced mine when I relined the tank as I wasn't sure if the old one was good or not. I did hook it up when I replaced the tank and moved the arm. It did raise and lower the needle on the gauge. I am guessing just the float just needs to be replaced on it.

    2. A pair of aftermarket taillights and brackets. I replaced these with a set of repop lights and brackets. They work fine and have even been painted white on the inside. I can send pictures if you want to see them.

I figure someone might be able to make use of these items. Again, free to a good home for the price of mailing them to you.

OK - I am off to wash the truck and take it to it's first cruise night tonight!

You lucky dog! Another member putts off into the sunset...

Sometimes I wonder why, when mine is so close to doing what I want it to do, that I am tearing it apart!

oh, that's right, so it'll be perdy too-

    ~Sigh~

Enjoy the heck out of that ride!

Dittos to what Ken and Zig said. I am sure you will get all kinds of good comments and thumbs up at the cruise. The white sidewalls make the ride.

    Manager's Pick

Thanks. I had a great time Saturday night. The truck was the Manager's pick of the week - gets its picture on the wall. Lots of lookers and great comments. Still smiling ear to ear. Ken - those are the 3 inch white walls.

No they are not cheap but I hope that they are the only tires I will need to buy for a long, long time. I really struggled over what to buy. After doing a lot of research and reading, I settled on the Diamondbacks. Luckily, the rest of the truck is in pretty good shape and not in need of anything else right now. Wait, did I say that? There's always something, right?

Jeff, I'm glad you corrected yourself

There's ALWAYS something to do on your truck! Thanks for the info and congrats on the Manager's Pick. First of several accolades, I'm sure!
