Rebuilt Toyota Land cruisers for years dumped then to build a 63 chevy SWB 4x4, having fun with it, cheers, Larry BTW a few pic's to follow.
235 and Toyota Someone once told me that Toyota used to use the 235 I-6 in the old Land Cruisers. Is that true?
i helped a friend draft in a 454 into a land cruiser years back, i think it was a little over powered. (not that im against that )
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Someone once told me that Toyota used to use the 235 I-6 in the old Land Cruisers. Is that true? They are similar in design as are the early chevy rear ends but the have a deeper stroke and better components. But like the early engines they have little power but nice torque. but they were durable as can be say 300k miles with the 2f with good tuning and regular maintiance.
