Hi all my name is Lee Peters and this is the first time I've been on the Thread.
There are some nice trucks. I have a '53 3100 chevy, that I'm working on, it's lots of fun, it needs a lot, but I keep pluging a way. thanks.

First, welcome, and let me lead the request for project pictures (you will get a lot of this). If that is your truck under your name you have done something that's not easy to do with a pickup---stretch the front suspension and plant the rear coming off the line. Most go up in tire smoke.

The truth is, it's not a hot rod. The way the picture was taken looks like I'm racing. But that el camino would of done a number on me. :)
I was at a cruise and the way it looks is actually a thorn in my side. I've been trying to lower the front of my truck, I bought 3" lowering springs, and that didn't drop it as low as I'd like to.
I would like to drop it with out having to buy any mustang II stuff, I probably should raise the back a little, cus I probably dropped it too a bit.
I'm only running a 283 chev motor, soon to be a 350, and that's what I mean about a lot of work yet.
