I finally ordered my new wheels and tires. The wheels are Cragar S/S Supersport 15X8s an the tires are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. The tires arrived with no issues. The wheels arrived yesterday. 2 of the 4 had shipping damage and one had a manufacturing blemish. I contacted Summit Racing and they immediately shipped 3 more wheels. Those will be here Monday. Summit told me to just "hang on to the damaged wheels" and that "someone should contact me, from Summit or UPS within a couple of weeks". That got me started thinking... Summit and UPS have no need for damaged wheels. I wonder if I'll get a call telling me to dispose of the wheels after UPS pays the freight damage claim? The one wheel that is blemished is 99% perfect. It'd make a GREAT spare tire wheel. The two that have shipping damage have very small dents on the outside rim. They'd still hold air and could most likely be straightened out and look very good. I may have some spare wheels to throw in the shed. Keeping my fingers crossed anyway.
