First off this is going to serve as my introduction to the board, not sure if its needed but some others i have been on act as if it is a felony if not done. So anyway time for the boring info. I am 35 yrs old i live in glendale az and i am a licensed contractor. Now for the good stuff. I own a 1947 1/2 ton 3 window stock, a 1948 1/2 ton 5 window custom, a 1947 coe stock, and a mild custom 1962 4 door pontiac. Now for the help needed. My 1947 1/2 ton needs a slip yoke to connect the driveline to the transmission. I have been told that 1947 was the early style and that in 1948 the driveshaft changed. Hopefully now you can understand why my frustration level has me tempting to swap to an open drveshaft., but the purist deep down inside keeps telling me not to. I know if i ask everyone in the world where to find the part i need, i will find it. My only problem is i only speak english so i hope someone here can direct me to what i am looking for.
