Hi everyone new to this forum but not new to building cool stuff.
I am starting a new build this month of a '48 Chevy 3100 pick up and wanted to post on a forum to get input and show my progress.
So far the plans are to update the suspension using a Mustang ii front suspension conversion kit and Lincoln Mark viii IRS. It currently has a 350 SBC with a turbo 400 automatic. I am trying to convince the owner to go with the LS 2 and 4L60 though.
If anyone here is interested in following this thread let me know.
How much and how often I post will depend on you all's interest and input.
In fact all input is very welcome positive or negative.
Mainly I will like input and suggestions from people who have had experience in any areas I will be working on. Plus I will be happy to answer any questions you all may have.
I am from Oklahoma City and am doing this build for a gentleman in my area.
So please let me know if this is a thread you would like to see .
