We haven't had a "What is it?" quiz in a while.

No GM pickup, but this was parked near me at the show and shine last Saturday night. It is stock. That is a McCulloch Supercharger, a Delco-Remy generator and a Saginaw power steering pump as used on mid 50's Buick, Caddy, Olds and Pontiac cars.

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pictures. I really need to remember to take a real camera to the show.

What year and make is it?

    My guess is a Pontiac 347 v8 in a '57 Pontiac.

Wrong corporation Ken. Plus, Pontiac didn't offer a factory supercharger until 2004.

You are correct. A four door '57 Packard Clipper Town Sedan with a borrowed from corporate Studebaker 289" V8 rated at 275 horsepower with the blower.

    Supercharged Rambler Wagon

About 5 years ago I met a guy at a show who had a really original, really nice, immaculately kept, Rambler wagon that he had installed the entire factory correct supercharger pieces on.

Ever since then I have been a fan of orphan cars.

    Thanks for the thread Bill.
