Oil on the left rear rim

    Hello,
    i saw the there was oil in the rim of the left rear wheel. Where can come? What can be the mailfunction?:eek:

    If it's oil then most likely an axle seal. I'm sure you have a shop manual that shows axle removal. You have to pull the rear cover, the spider gears locking pin, the spider gears shaft, and then push in on the axle till a "C" clip on the inner end of the axle will come off. The axle will then pull out. You will have to rotate the carrier assembly till there is room to remove the shaft and if possible don't move from this position as this will keep the spiders aligned so the shaft slides right back in.
