i'd really love to put some "bomber style" lap belts in my old cluncker. i thought i had seen an ad somewhere where they make new ones that look like the WWII aircraft type. anyone seen these??? thanks!

Should be available vis war surplus as they were used on Military construction equipment into the mid 1970's ~ I salvaged some in 1972 or so and used in my old VW or maybe the Rock Buggy .

Nowadays you can just salvage old seat belts from a vintage junker and have the re-webbed , this is actually affordable , any place that has a racetrack will have a seat belt repair place nearby or better upholsteery shops can do re-webbing and you can color match them at the same time....

Jon, Nate is correct as usual. Webbing can be fixed just be careful with the catchs. Some of the older belts still seem to latch tight but when pulled on will disenage the levers/pawls.
