You fellows wouldn't believe what I found if I told you, so here are a few pics. There are over 500 old vehicles in this ol wrecking yard that has been shut down since the early 70s and just opened back up a few weeks ago. Most are probably nothing more than rust buckets now but I'm sure much is still good. Every kind of vehicle made back then. Right here 8 miles from me. Jacksonville Texas

    Hey TBD,

Can't see the forest for the trees, but I'm sure there are wondrous things in those woods. Keep us updated.

What an awesome way to get your land cleared off for free!

Seeing those really makes me want to get back to that yard at Goodman, MO. It was'nt grown over when I was there, and PLENTY of ADs. Mostly cabs and frames but- Then there's Tom's Trucks in Miami, Oklahoma. I GOTTA get back there 'cause he has bins of parts already stripped. I gotta get down there and get pictures to post. He ships and may be of a service to someone on here! Thanks! Now I got truck fever as bad as my fishin' fever! I think I need a drink! Oh look! Here's one:D

What will I do on Spring Break? Most people plan exotic trips to far away places. I plan my trips to old bone yards!

So did we ever decide on where we're gonna put all of our old cars that we are saving from the wrecking yards. Oh I know, lets just buy the whole place!!!:D I love going to yards like that. There's not a 70 camaro sitting around out there is it. I think that'll be my next one. Tab keeps telling me to finish this one before I start thinking of the next. A boy can't help but dream.

    Sweet !

No matter where I go , I always find the junkyards and take a look / walk .

I am lucky in that SWMBO doesn't mind and will paitiently wait in the car , often for hours....

There is a place like this in North Carolina. It is on highway 49 between Ashborough and Charlotte. I found the bed sides I will be putting on my 54 there. Actually the bed was all there. Even had what was left of the original wood. But this place has everything. And there was not one car or part older than 1970.

The place has changed hands once or twice so I do not know what it is called. If anybody needs to know I will be glad to drive out there and find out. "Please don't throw me in the brier patch."

Ha someone get in there and get me 2 16 inch wheels with the original hub cap clips & also I need a special clutch head screw to the front edge hood inner brace. This is the one that attach's to the actual hood itself.
Thanks Guy's your the Best !!!:)
