I'm just starting to restore my 1966 chevy C10 and need to adjust the drum brakes. How do I go about doing this? This is my first truck to be restoreing so you will probably hear a lot of these questions from me. Actually it is my first vehicle. Thanks a lot for the help-Scott

    Hi Scott, Welcome to ChevyDuty.

For those that have heard me say this before, please excuse...

Scott, Pick up the 1963 Factory Service Manual and the 1966 Suppliment for your truck. In addittion to detailing brake adjustment procedures, it also provides a step by step guide to 99% of everything you will need to do on your truck.

The cost of the manuals will quickly be recovered in the time saved and the cost of parts butchered .
