Hi, New to post here. Just posted a few pics of two of my four trucks with another one on the way. So I guess I mean two of my five trucks. Years of poorness, Hard labor, No parol. Sure is worth the end product IMO. Chris :)

I know what you mean on the poor part. It only took about 5 seconds to spend $1000.00 on my 4-link that I ordered today. But I can't wait until the middle of next week when I turn the corner and see that big brown box there knowing I have parts here for the old truck.

The truck under the carport is a 54 GMC that im doing a ground up on. It has the deluxe cab with all the stainless. Was an original Hydromatic truck but that was all gone when I bought it. Had a 283 and 4 spd. The 283 is now in the fleetside replacing the tired old 235(sorry Nate!) I like the 292 sixes so it has one of them and a TH350, PS,PB. Also upgraded to an 4:10 pumkin. The 53 in the background of the pic is the next "hot rod". I'm trying to stay focused on one at a time.. Chris

411- That's a beauty! The colors remind me of my 64 that I had. (It turned into my 52 GMChevy) Awesome job, and welcome to the site! We'll do everything we can to delay your answers with off the wall banter!:D Enjoy! Have a cup of coffee!;)

    Late Welcome

Wow Chris, that is a beaut... the old dump truck is classy. I ended up with 6 trucks ranging from 48 -53, don't know why I wanted more than one except I thought if one is this much fun, 6 would be hilarious :D . Welcome to the support group, never thought to call it that before but then you can see that I'm slow, it took me a few days to say HOWDY and WELCOME.

I havent been on here long but these fellows recognized a real nutcase and pitched right in to help out. I guess it was out of the kindness of there heart or they are just plain crazy one.

Anyway, keep us posted on what ya got and what ya doin,,, we love to druel:eek:

Mine and the Boops (that's my daughter) trucks came from old farmers around this part of the country. I started out to do a few minor repairs on the Boops and it was down hill from there. Only been working on it for a little over a year and she's been patienly waiting. She's teaching me lots, she's my partner in crime.

    Welcome TBsD (The Boops Dad):D
