opinions needed

I have some plain smooth chrome valve covers I want to dress up a little.They are on a Cadillac engine.I would like to put emblems made to stick on the quarter panels or decklid on my valve covers.Im wondering if they will stay on due to the heat.Anybody tried this?Thanks,Tom.

due to heat,oil,vibration,and expansion and contraction,you will have great difficulty making anything stick to valve covers.You would be better off trying to screw them on and seal the screw holes.

LJW is right, nothing will stick to the valve covers. There is just to much heat for them to stick. Screwing them on would be your best bet.
