I have a '74 C-10 and I am looking around for body panels. I have seen all the aftermarket parts, but from talking to friends, they have told me that by buying GM Reproduction parts, I will be much happier with them. The only place I have seen with original body panels is Chevy Duty, but the price is $545 a fender! Are there any other places that carry GM Original Body parts. Is this the kind of price I will run into when looking for these parts? Any help would be great.
Yes as far as I know the price at Chev Duty for original GM fenders is the going rate. But, on the older trucks the aftermarket body parts will work fine. You may have to do a little drilling and fiting but thay will fit-up KO. Good luck on your rebuild. Frank C
