Been trying to find the original tire size for my 63 C-10. Found the sizes for a larger truck but that didn't help since the rims are different sizes. I installed the rebuilt speedometer today to find out that the speedometer is off by about 10 mph. I am guessing that the tires are not the correct size as they are 235's on the front and back. Anybody help out with the correct size as I don't need a speeding ticket;)

If it were me I would keep those tires. They look really nice on your truck. The speedometer can be adjusted by switching the gear drive located in the transmission behind where the cable attaches.
Find out what trans you have if you don't already know and start calling transmission shops to see if they can get a speedometer gear drive for the trans. You will most likely have better luck with by staying away from the nation-wide chain transmission shops. Call around to the smaller ones.

Oh, Sorry for the delay in responding. I just spotted your post.
